The Community Intervention Team (COMIT) provides comprehensive support through assessment, psychotherapy and psychosocial interventions such as cognitive behavioural therapy and psychoeducation support for individuals with mental health condition and dementia, as well as their caregivers.  
 

How can the Community Intervention Team support you?

  • Provide assessment, psychotherapy, psychosocial intervention such as cognitive behavioural therapy and psychoeducation, to support the reduction of symptoms for clients to enable them to live well in the community, and better support the caregiving journey of the caregivers

  • Providing collaborative care for clients and their caregivers through a case management approach

  • Working in partnership with healthcare and community care partners, as well as key stakeholders to co-manage and support persons with mental health conditions and dementia in the community.

COMIT serves individuals aged 18 and above. For those aged 18 to 20 years old with mental health concerns, written consent from a parent or guardian is required.

Individuals must be Singapore citizens or Singapore permanent residents. Additionally, individuals should not be exhibiting active suicidal tendencies or violent behaviour.
